Because he will pull saints apart solo.
At least JTL will be happy 😃
Mike, you may well be correct regarding match fitness, this is one of my previous points when Lam should've played him previously "bad management!" Imo

Cabo, shame you have to be condescending whether tongue in cheek or not, he is a warrior!

Chariots, yes I'm happy he's in the squad, will he play? I would be very surprised if he does, if he had not been omitted in past squads and 3 - 4 games he surely should've played, he would be a better option than bibby imo

Hopefully we don't have any injuries that might end up Hank being selected by default, I'm sure he would give100% and more but as Mike referenced his match fitness will not be 100% which is down to Lam

Hope we eventually get over them on Friday then in the big one!!

Big blow knowing that Lockers is not fit, we need him for the big games.
We haven't since 2018
We haven’t won anything either! Big games require big players.

6. Bevan French
23. Jake Bibby
1. Zak Hardaker
4. Oliver Gildart
5. Joe Burgess
31. Jackson Hastings
28. Harry Smith
20. Liam Byrne
9. Sam Powell
19. Joe Bullock
15. Joe Greenwood
12. Liam Farrell
38. Brad Singleton

7. Tommy Leuluai
11.Willie Isa
16. Morgan Smithies
17. Oliver Partington

14. Ben Flower 18th
One prop on the bench?

Behave.
I agree the middle is where this game will be won. No Walmsley, ginger playing two games in four days and the need to take the energy out of Roby suggests that we need to load up with props.

We have seen no signs of these in his near 2 years so far. I am not holding my breath but would be delighted to be pleasantly surprised.

My line up would be...

French - Burgess - Gildart - Hardaker - Bibby (maybe swapping positions in defence) - Hastings - Smith
Bullock - Powell - Singleton - Farrell - Greenwood - Smithies
Partington - Byrne - Leuluai - Flower
How close to that team does Lam need to be to give him number 2 on your list? If tommy starts with smith on the bench for example is he a failure. You need to answer before kickoff.

Not sure I'm that convinced about Byrne these days. He seems to have slowed and only dies with the ball. He needs to look at the others like Partington and see how they've expanded their game. I'm worried about Havard's injury being a bit more serious then was originally thought.

Well as my comment was a poke at the multiple posts that seem to hold him as a solution to our issues it had nothing to.do with supporting or not supporting Hankinson.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

I think we need smith in if these conditions stay the same....... a good kicking game will be vital as luke gale proved in the leeds game
