Although last night was sad (I can't quite get me head round the fact Gary won't be out there next season :0( ) I'm VERY VERY PROUD of my team.
Considering all the disruption due to injury and the walking wounded pushing themselves through the pain barrier so we could have 13 players on the pitch we should be smiling - ok it wasn't the 'fairy tale' ending it could have been but one out of two trophies available (and the pretty one at that!) is something to celebrate (especially as the dark side from over Billinge lump will be left empty handed!!!)
I just hope in the off season everyone recovers properly (and we don't pick up anymore injuries entertaining the Kiwis!) - and that something is done to prevent the glut of injuries we've suffered this season happening again.
