Wigan, Great Britain RL and Man U

Post by jobo »

Are the fates of these teams intertwined ?. Fact, the last time GBRL beat the kiwis, Man U and Wigan were riding high. Best teams and players in the northern hemisphere. Nowadays, I have to suffer the indignity when chatting about sport,to have Wigan mentioned only as a team that may cause a few upsets but with no real chance of winning the play offs. Man Utd also writen off as has beens. as for GBRL team, they are considered a non event. Reckon we should all pray for a Manu revival.

GB haven't won a Test series for 8 years. And in that time ManU have won Premiership, Champions League etc, etc, etc.

Anyway, we do have a realistic chance of winning the playoffs. Maybe not next year (but we could sneak it by hitting form at the end of the season), but look at all the quality youngsters we have coming through in one go. Remind you of any footy sides that went on to dominate the domestic game???
