Our pack has looked good of late with Benny and Moose showing much improved form. Getting Faz back will be a real boost as our bench looked a little light yesterday and Bateman will have to play centre for the rest of the term (that alone should tell our coaching team that recruitment in this area is necessary). The forwards certainly gave our backs enough opportunity and space to win the derby comfortably. If they continue to play at that level then I think we have a great chance of bringing some silverware home.

Flower did well and took the game to Saints all night.
Also thought it was Crosby's best game for ages. Dom made a lot of distance whilst in contact.
Mossop is improving as well.
They must have been cheesed of the way we lost it.
Not enough tries scored then allowing Jones a free jump for the high kick.

Crosby put in a good stint too, our front rowers outplayed theirs.

The set of props we've got look great to me. I don't think the pack is an area we need to strengthen. The bqck do need some freshening though. Especially at centre.

Agreed flower is a pack leader at the moment and in excellent form

Mod sop has improved but only to the stage I now know he is playing

A fundamental reason why the pack look better is because we are now playing more go forward in and around the POTB.
