Young Player of the Year

Post by josie andrews »

George Williams has beaten team mate Joe Burgess & Warrington's Ben Currie to the 2015 award

Well done & thoroughly deserved ????????????????????????

I said the same to a Wire fan when he said it would "go to a Wigan player cos they're in the final"! Playing number six is harder & has more responsibility than a forward IMO

Well done, George.

And that award should cement your position in the England squad for the Test Series against New Zealand.

Williams gets slated every match from 'fans' near where I sit.. I am fed up with fickle fans constantly hassling our young players.

Very well done George.

Tad crazy then. Fans who watch the younger age groups have known how good a talent George was/is and Wire did anything / everything to try to sign him at 16.

Absolutely chuffed for him.
He can only get better and I'm tipping him now to win the Harry Sunderland Trophy at the GF!
Or, failing him, Matty Bowen.
Or, failing him...........etc. etc. :D :D :D :D
