SUPRISED NO ONE MENTIONED SMITH
surprised considering he tried his best and I know he is a great guy, but being that does not win games. Please can we have some one who can create things, someone with a bit of flair ....please... don't we as Wigan fans deserve a class player/players at 6 and 7?

Me in another thread! Got the wrong Matty and gave him the excuse of being "confused" because he'd just given birth! I did in the North Car Park waiting to get out and go home yesterday. Its not that Smith is a very bad player its the kicking game its killing us. We are giving 10-30 meters a set at times with poor consistent kicking.
Williams either can not kick or is not allowed the responsibility so we are stuck when our go forward is not great then we lose a lot of yardage to this.
And I do not think he can rectify this now in his career. Next season will be a very important one for Smith and Wane. We can not afford to give games away as we did last season.

When you break it down smith actually offers very little
