Best win in 30+ years ?

Post by cpwigan »

1st not because it is Wane but I totally diagreed with this pre and post match. 2016 Wigan RLFC had the best squad and were as good as any of the other semi finalists. THe injuries in a way IMO were a blessing and we may not have won with a full team.

2nd, my main reason for arguing nonsense. Wane will say bigger than Manly. No it wasn't. We were the underdogs, we had players missing and on Many were a far more formidable challenge than Wire 2016. Like Brisbane away. Club huge turmoil, caretaker coach, no props playing Brisbane who were years better than Wure 2016 in their backgarden, GF 2016 is no comparison.

We can go back to Mission Impossibles where we were playing 2/ 3 games in a week and plenty of kids / reserves in sich games, CC Final v Saints with injuries, injected to a standstill players.
