Against this backdrop and our Salary Cap challenge, we felt it was right to allow this evolution to take place.
Why do Warrington not have this same "Salary Cap Challenge"?????

i didnt like this either

The arrival of Romain Navarrete and the promising future for Academy graduate, Joe Bretherton, is a cost-effective and highly promising pairing for the future

i know its a business but it would be nice if we kept hold of some of our players

I think at least they have given a detailed and seemingly honest explanation - even if it isn't what we would like to see happen or hear as an explanation. for that there some be some praise. I'm also guessing that signing Navarette was only looked into after we knew Dom was leaving.

We can't keep them all. Wire have offloaded two props to replace them with Crosby it looks like.

I would have preferred him to stay, but if he wants to be the third best paid prop on a team's squad and see him valued a it less then something has to give. The arrival of RPN, the improvements in TT and the consistent level of performance from Flower, along with Clubb's form early on, Sutton ability and potential etc. are all factors in having to make the 'business decision' under a salary cap. I make it more than 7 'middles' though, so is that a hint another is on the way out - or do Bretherton and Navarette not get classed as 'seniors'.

Wire have signed Cooper from the NRL, Matty Blyth and Andre Savelio :eh:

You cannot be serious if you think releasing Ryan Bailey (and the other players released) freed up cap space to sign those?

I like dom but for me he is one of those players you wanted a little more from, at 25 hes got his best years ahead of him and playing with Hill should help his game

I don't post a lot nor get inside info but Ryan Bailey was on a total of 50k for the season. He also had a host of penalty clauses in his contract that allowed instant dismissal/no pay for any off field issues. His release does little for their cap.
