Wigan Warriors name squad for Family Fun Sunday game with Catalans Dragons

Joel Tomkins (foot) and Anthony Gelling (ban) are withdrawn

Michael Mcilorum and Joe Burgess return having played last week against St Helens
Wigan Warriors have made two changes to the 19-man squad for the Family Fun Sunday game with Catalans Dragons.


Joel Tomkins (foot) is withdrawn whilst Anthony Gelling is banned having picked up a one-match ban following the game at Wakefield. Michael Mcilorum and Joe Burgess return to the squad having played against St Helens last week.

Shaun Wane hinted in his weekly press conference that Burgess could expect to feature at centre in the coming weeks with the Warriors Head Coach happy with the form of young wingers Tom Davies and Liam Marshall.

Willie Isa is expected to feature in the game having been a late withdrawal against Wakefield.

The Warriors head into the game looking for a third win in ten days having beaten St Helens on Good Friday and Wakefield on Easter Monday.

Joe Bretherton, Joe Burgess, Tom Davies, Morgan Escaré, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower, Liam Forsyth, Nick Gregson, Willie Isa, Tommy Leuluai, Liam Marshall, Michael Mcilorum, Romain Navarrete, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Sean O’Loughlin, Sam Powell, Ryan Sutton, Taulima Tautai & George Williams.

A limited number of all-inclusive family packages are available for just £58, including admission for a family of four, £10 food voucher, parking and match day programme, are now available from the DW Stadium Ticket office and Ticket Hotline on 0871 66-33-552.

Members and veterans of the Armed Forces can redeem a free East Stand ticket on production of their Armed Forces Discount Card at the DW Stadium Ticket Office, whilst additional tickets for family and friends are available for £15 adults and £5 juniors.
