Sean O’Loughlin returns to Wigan Warriors 19-man squad alongside Josh Woods

Wigan face Warrington at 2017 Dacia Magic Weekend on Saturday, 7pm kick-off at St James’ Park, Newcastle

Final tickets available from the Warriors, coach travel now SOLD OUT
Captain Sean O’Loughlin returns to the Wigan squad for the 2017 Dacia Magic Weekend showdown with Warrington Wolves.

The skipper missed Wigan’s previous Super League game with Salford due to captaining England in the Pacific Test with Samoa before being ruled out of the cup game at Swinton with a calf problem.

O’Loughlin is joined in the squad by Josh Woods. The half-back debuted against Salford but missed the cup game due to being cup-tied having previously played for Swinton in the previous round.

The duo replace Oliver Partington and Josh Ganson in the 19-man squad.

George Williams retains his place and looks set to play having missed last week’s game with a migraine.

Wigan Warriors 19-Man Squad

Joe Burgess, Tom Davies, Liam Farrell, Callum Field, Liam Forsyth, Nick Gregson, Willie Isa, Liam Marshall, Michael Mcilorum, Romain Navarrete, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Sean O’Loughlin, Ryan Sutton, Taulima Tautai, Lewis Tierney, Joel Tomkins, Jack Wells, George Williams & Josh Woods

Wigan face Warrington Wolves at the 2017 Dacia Magic Weekend on Saturday 20 May, 7pm with tickets available direct from the club.

So we're looking something like this for the starting team :-

Tierney

Davies
Forsyth
Burgess
Marshall

Williams
Woods/Gregson

Fpn
MM
Sutton
Farrell
Joel
Lockers

Bench : Isa, Gregson/Woods, Navarette, Tautai

Was hoping Powell and Leuluai would have been back, so yet another tough ask - but get the performance right and we can get the 2 points.

Probably keeping back a player or two for the CC.

McIlorum to play the full 80?

Tough ask on Saturday given that Wire have close to a full team available. Warrington don't like playing us though!

I'd like to see Williams and Woods played together, but I rather suspect it'll be Lockers or Gregson in the with George.
