Super 8’s

Post by cumbria_warrior »

Just been looking at the league standings, does anyone know how the super 8s fixtures are determined? Is out of the top 8 how do they decide who you play at home/away etc (realise top 4 play 4 home games)

And after last nights storming Giants win at Cas we are still in second place which has to be unexpected after Thursday night. ????

Am i right in thinking the super 8's realistically this year is the playoff preseason?

i mean unless there is a complete capitulation by one of the top four sides the semi final line up is pretty much confirmed isn't it?
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

Yes, it's one of the reasons Ian Lenagan was so against the system. More than half of the games will be meaningless.

The middle 8s are way more interesting, and have been each year.
