Can't say I'm surprised at him coming out with that.
For once he might have thought out what he was saying?

Nah not clever enough to think that quick. Must admit tho never Thought Bateman would go to Australia. he is a true home family man.Wandering Warrior wrote:Can't say I'm surprised at him coming out with that.

Re: Wigan tv
Was always hoping bateman would stay despite the rummours, from current form he is going to be a massive miss and one that cant be replaced by a project.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

I find it difficult to think of any player from SL or the NRL that we could feasibly recruit that would adequately replace John Bateman.

I'm the opposites always though he would go, sometimes you have to do the hard things and being a family man as he clearly is this must be a tough move for him, but we live in an era of FaceTime and instant messaging the world is a very small place nowadayskeptinthedarkfans wrote:Nah not clever enough to think that quick. Spoke to Bateman at the charity match yesterday and he said he had not completely made his mind up yet but was swaying towards the NRL

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
