Wigan Warriors Women thru to the Grand Final v Leeds

Wigan Warriors Women booked their place in the Women's Grand final v Leeds by beating Saints for the third time this season 10 - 6

Fantastic achievement for their first year ????????????⚪️
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

It was a very gritty display. Great goal line defence. It was a performance not unlike the one from the men to be honest.

The Final is at the Regional Arena next to Man City's stadium at 1pm. You can get a tram from Etihad Campus stop straight through to Exchange Quay or Salford Quays stops, which are near to Old Trafford. The tram takes about 40 minutes I think in total, so should mean doing both games is quite manageable - I just think getting to Manchester on public transport will be the challenge for anyone going from Wigan.

Watch the Women's Super League Grand Final on Saturday, October 13.

Leeds Rhinos will face Wigan Warriors at the Manchester Regional Arena, 1pm kick off.

Admission is £5 with U16s going free, tickets will be available on the gate.
