“I don’t envisage this being our final list of players for when we head into our opening round fixture against St Helens. We are still working on the possibility of bringing in one or two new faces into the group. Adrian has spent his opening week familiarising himself with our squad and looking at potential areas that need strengthening"

Pretty much as expected. Glad Escare has been given the number 1. Unfortunately this probably means we won't be bringing in any more major signings.

Glad to see Morgan Escare rewarded with the #1 shirt ????

Only because I’m superstitious I’d have liked to have seenTommy keep number 9,last time out the season in the end was a bit of a damp squid, even allowing for the WCC win..

Good squad, like most here I'm glad Escare has the 1 shirt.
Powell at 9 is a given as subs are down from 10-8. Sam can do 80 mins at 9 where as Tommy has to be interchanged.
Lam has a selection problem with the wingers though. Davies has the 2 shirt but Manfredi could well be higher in the pecking order.

A good squad with plenty quality in depth. With no reserves how are they going to keep all those players happy as they all want a first team starting place, or at least in the 17?

Reading in between the lines, think Dom wanted to keep that shirt number ????

Maybe one more if the right player is available at the right price.
