Post by josie andrews »

With the new Super League season fast approaching, Wigan Warriors are pleased to announce that tickets for their home opener against Leeds Rhinos are now on sale.

The new season kicks off in just over a month, and the game will be the first competitive match for the Warriors under the guidance of new Head Coach Adrian Lam. It also see’s former Warriors player David Furner take charge of his Rhinos side here at the DW Stadium.

Warriors Marketing Director Martin Mcloughlin said, “Any new season is eagerly anticipated but with the arrival of Adrian Lam, there is a genuine buzz around Wigan for the season ahead. This will be the first chance Warriors fans get to see their team at the DW stadium in 2019 as well as our new-look game day experience.

“There is always a bigger than normal demand for the home opener and as such I would recommend all fans to purchase their tickets early to avoid congestion on the night.

“I would also like to remind supporters that season tickets are still available and offer some fantastic cash savings over match-by-match admission. Simply visit our website HERE or contact the Ticket Office for more details.”

Wigan Warriors versus Leeds Rhinos takes place at the DW Stadium on Friday 8th February 2019 at 7.45pm and tickets are now on sale from the DW Stadium Ticket Office, Ticket Hotline on 01942 311111 and online HERE.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
