Should Josh Ganson not be getting a chance at hooker, he was 21 last week so if he's still not in the frame then he needs to start looking elsewhere.

I never quite understand why Ganson was so highly thought of by some people as you say he’s a little on the slow side,I don’t understand why people give Powell so much stick,yea he’s not a halfback but as a modern hooker he does what his coach asks of him,are there better players out he’s but they’re not coming to Wigan,it’s time to get off the lads back.

He’s not the first player Wigan have had in the first team who isn’t good enough and he’s not the only one in the squad who isn’t either and they also get stick. What makes Powell so special as to avoid criticism?

You are right there are better players out there. All of our rivals have a better 9 than we do. The last thing Powell is, is a modern hooker and if he is doing all his coach asks of him then Lam is easily pleased. He’d have been better playing the game 25 years ago given his lack of pace. That being so, he’s bound to be compared unfavourably time and again to our rivals players.
