We say it all the time ‘there’s something going on behind the scenes for them to be playing so badly’ well now we know why!
They are paid to play and win matches, there is no excuse for their inept performances this season. We have enough talent in that squad to beat Salford, the question is do the players have the desire? If not, they should be looking for another job. Are we seeing player power at Wigan?

Oh happy days.
Lets hope Cats win tonight to keep us off the bottom of the table after Hastings tears us apart tomorrow after being led up the garden path in Wigans negotiations last autumn before we rushed out to buy a Championship player released by his Club when they were promoted to Superleague.
But Sammut is not the problem.
He wasn't released though! He asked to be released so he could stay “up North” to be with his family! He was fed up of the commute back & forth.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

But there again he cannot possibly be the answer for a club of Wigans stature surely?

The answer lies in the team as a whole. Somebody said that we had a leadership team, has someone kidnapped them? It is for all 17 to step up to the mark.
