If he did sign last week with someone else why not just announce it and get it over with?

No!

What if he signed before he left. Or perhaps even whilst he was in Spain? Being in Spain wouldn't stop you signing anything.

Shaun Edwards was never going to come, a "put me in the shop window exercise", he and Mr Lenegan intimated what we all wanted to hear. A complete fudge up.

Apart from that scenario has no pay off for IL at all, yes it may get a short term boost to ticket sales but on back of this i can imagine some 'loyal' fans are going to not get a ST next year.

IL clearly idolises SE you can see that from the interviews, however he was very Niave in not getting a signed contract and it looks like coaching Wigan isnt the dream SE insinuated it was.

Money talks as usual.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Maybe he had shaken hands and agreed a deal with Wasps before going to Spain.

This whole saga has turned the club into a laughing stock. The whole situation stinks and has made IL look like an amateur and SE has shown his true colours.
