Adrian Lam names Wigan Warriors 19-man squad to face Castleford Tigers

Sarginson and Powell return to 19, Smith and Bourouh miss out

Warriors take on the Tigers on Saturday in the Betfred Super League at the DW Stadium, 5:15K.O.
Adrian Lam has named the Wigan Warriors 19-man squad to face Castleford Tigers on Saturday (K.O. 5:15pm).

Last time Wigan faced Castleford at the DW Stadium in the 2018 Betfred Super League Semi Final the Warriors came out on top, winning 14-0.

The Tigers hosted Adrian Lam’s men earlier this season, winning 38-28 at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

*Injury News

The Wigan ranks are boosted with the return of centre Dan Sarginson (ankle) and Sam Powell, who has served a two-match suspension picked up in Wigan’s defeat to Wakefield Trinity.

Jarrod Sammut (knee), Tom Davies (ankle), Dom Manfredi (knee), Tony Clubb (knee), Liam Farrell (pectoral), Romain Navarrete (knee) all remain out.

TIGERS SQUAD TO FACE WIGAN

Daryl Powell has named his 19-man squad ahead of his sides clash with Wigan Warriors.

Castleford Tigers will travel to the DW Stadium to face Wigan Warriors on Saturday 27th April (KO: 5:00pm).

Powell has been forced into two changes with Junior Moors missing the trip after picking up a one game suspension and Michael Shenton dropping out after going off during the Tigers away game against Catalans Dragons.

This means a return to the squad for youngsters, Calum Turner and Jacques O’Neill.

I think we should beat that team quite easily........ as long as we play for 80 lol
