He's too slow.

I can, I beat him to the bar. Mind you he is a Yorkshire man 😀

Which out-of-contract Wigan Warriors players won't be offered new deals revealed

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Really hope they don't make the mistake of giving Sarginson another contract

Leaked... by who, has any other club had this done this season.

Thats a big clear out of the fringe players though.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Probably the most positive news weve had this season, however Tommy and Lockers need to pack in both are past their sell by dates i know people will shout about their influence against wire but that's not the point until they are off the books you cant get the replacements on the books and lockers had already gone round 1 too many times.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

I am pleased that Clubb may stay, as he gives the team some aggression. He’s no Dowling, but he makes the side better. If I understand the article correctly, Leuluai and Burgess are staying. That’s fine by me (as long as we are not paying over the odds for a winger):

- no deal for Tautai. Good;

- no deal for Hamlin. Good;

- no deal for Sarginson. Only good if we can improve on him. Given that he played on through mourning his brother’s death, and has contributed towards a couple of Grand Final wins, I would not be upset to see him go, nor would I be heart broken if he stays;

- no deal for loads or youngsters. The only one that caught my eye was Paisley, as I think he is good. I don’t know, but I am guessing we won’t be saving much money on that lot; and

- no deal yet for Lockers. After all he has done for us, and he was really good yesterday, I would err on the side of keeping him.

The question then is whether that releases enough space to sign all the players we need...

Paisley is the big surprise for me. He looked like he was on the fringe of 1st team, maybe 12 months off.

Does anyone have any info or insight into this? SEFC???

I think the clear out is needed certainly of the young lads who for whatever reason aren’t going to make the step up.

I wouldn’t give Sarge a contract mainly as he seems to get injured more since his return,I know you can say that about Manfredi but for now the club has a moral obligation to keep him for now at least
