Just seen an Instagram upload of the Warriors in Barcelona via George Williams

On one of the photos Joe Burgess is noticeably bigger than Sarginson, Gildart, Navarette and Flower.

Its no wonder we struggle to make meters and batter teams down when our Winger is the biggest player.

TT clearly the biggest we have. Shame he doesn’t play like he’s the biggest and likely strongest.

Time and again the lack of size is costing Wigan,if we fans can see it why can’t the powers that be?

Today was a classic example. If we had the ball and the guild in attack we would have run CD ragged . Smaller mobile packs need good coaches and a team that sticks to the plan

My my missus says size doesn't matter but she doesn't watch Rugby League or blue movies.

It was the management in IL & Rads that mentioned size first.
That was after the Roosters WCC game five years ago.
So how many 6'5" props have we recruited since? Bullock is the only one I can think of and this is his first season with us. OK Wane might not have wanted men that tall but smaller more mobile. That ship has now sailed. We need big men who can put us on the front foot through yards after contact.

What Lam can do with this squad I'm not sure but his team selection has left me surprised. Clubb starting at 13 after weeks out with Lockers on the bench. A fast wide pitch, if ever there was a case for having Escare in the 17 today was it.

Wane did want bigger forwards. By the way Sam Moa is not big but he runs far harder than our props.
