Don’t know his metres made but I have him down as played 27 mins first half 15 second. He had 8 carries and 12 tackles. He made more metres chasing the kicker than he did with the ball in his hand.

It would be interesting to see all players stats really...and with individuals ‘metres’ does that include the metres a lot of our players seem to make are running laterally rather than the direction of ‘forward’ metres?

You can't always tell the full picture from stats but I reckon statistically that's one of the better performances from our pack this year. 2 forwards making over 100m and Tautai just 1 metre short seems like good metre making from us.
I thought Tautai and Isa probably had their best games of the season. Isa, to his credit, seems to have been working on getting passes/offloads away but just isn't big enough to cause problems and create space outside him. Even when he has a good game he never seems to have caused any problems for the defence.
Clubb's stats are similar to Flower's even though Flower only played about 25 minutes, whereas Partington just isn't effective enough going forward. I also think Flower's work in defence was definitely missed in the 2nd half, particularly around the ruck.

Greenwood needs to have a long look at Smithies and how he plays
