Holts injury update

Post by josie andrews »

Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad with the Holts Injury Update.

Dan Sarginson

After spending two weeks on the sidelines through injury, the centre was named in Wigan’s 19-man squad to face Hull KR this Friday. See the full squad update HERE.

Sean O’Loughlin & Ben Flower

Speaking to the media earlier this week, Head Coach Adrian Lam provided more detail on the injury of captain Sean O’Loughlin (achilles) whilst also giving an update on injured prop forward Ben Flower (back).

He said: “O’Loughlin is looking to be out for four weeks. Benny Flower is looking at a similar time, so four to five weeks.”

Joe Greenwood

The Wigan boss also provided an update on second-row Joe Greenwood, who has been ruled out this week.

“We will follow the protocol of head knocks and the return to the field policy, making sure we do the right thing by that.”

Long-term injuries

Dom Manfredi (knee)

Tom Davies (ankle)

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Having failed to progress in the Cup, there are only 3 games in the next 4 weeks, so Lockers and Flower should be back after the week off.
