Holts Injury Update

Post by josie andrews »

Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad with the Holts Injury Update.

Joe Bullock

The prop, who has played all but one of Wigan’s games so far this season, picked up a knee injury against St Helens last week.

Providing an update on the 26-year-old earlier this week, Head Coach Adrian Lam, said: We have (Joe) Bullock going for an MRI scan on his knee. There is some medial damage but hopefully that’s it. There are some concerns over it being an ACL but we will find out soon. If it is, that will be the season over for him - fingers crossed it’s not.”

Tommy Leuluai

Wigan’s No.7 also missed out on the 19-man squad this week with a lower back injury.

Tony Clubb

The experienced forward was named in last week’s 19 to face St Helens but failed a late fitness test before the game on Friday.

Clubb has been named in the 19 to face Wakefield this Thursday. See the full squad news HERE.

Injury list

Sean O’Loughlin (Achilles), Ben Flower (back) and Joe Greenwood (head injury) remain on the comeback trail and are not available for selection this week.

Long term

Dom Manfredi (knee) and Tom Davies (ankle) remain the two long-term injuries in the squad.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Not much of an update is it. These were all the initial reason to either why they went off during the game or missed the next one.

Surely they have some idea about Bullock, seeing as it was last week he injured his leg.

And is Greenwood out for a while or is it a weekly check.

And Lockers has had an Achilles injury for the last 3 seasons. Is he due back or are we now resting him again for the play offs.
