Six of us booked train tickets to Hull on the Saturday morning return Sunday . Without hotels which are refundable that's the around £500 down the swanky.

FFS! Hull on a Thursday night!

Sky you're a set of fecking barstewards!

Then the clubs will be moaning for those fans who cannot attend, especially with the 7.45 K.O. time. Tickets sales will be down for away fans 😡

Gutted for the likes of fans like Edinburgh Warrior!

I thought they were supposedly stopping these fixture changes to accommodate Sky?
They really take the p**s.

Don't show the Saints/Wigan Derby but change this game to suit themselves! 😡😡
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

If they want to move fixtures then they should give us more notice.
A month's notice should be the absolute minimum.

Write to the rfl and demand a refund.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

I feel for anybody who is losing money as a consequence of this. I would have thought that they should contact the club and see what gesture they can make to improve things.

On the pitch, this makes life more difficult for FC, whom we could be within 2 points of by then if results go our way this week end. They play what should be a hard game in the semi of the cup on Saturday. In years gone by, having an unplanned week off and chance to play a team battered by a cup game with a short time to prepare would be a golden opportunity. Can we take it?

Wouldn't have thought this was anything to do with Elston, as the last tv deal was struck well before he got involved with SL, in fact it was more likely at the time to have been the RFL.
Therefore, Thursday nights would have been built into the Sky contract, which the clubs accepted and have had their monies for ?

At the time yes the contract was of course down to the RFL,but now they are,for whatever reason separate entities, you simply can’t keep calling them on past mistakes.

I will in fairness this if I’m right is the first switch of the season so it’s a lot better than it has been in seasons past,it’s just a shame both SL and Sky have blotted their copy book with this,it’s all gone to plan rather well so far.

They need to dump Thursday nights when they come round to renegotiating the next tv deal (whoever it's with).
No good for kids in the school term or for families during the holidays.
