Attack vs Defence

Post by nathan_rugby »

Our effort Defensively vs Hull was the best I’ve seen since Wane left.

- great intensity
- great line speed
- great sliding / scrambling

Excellent effort from Isa, Smithies, Powell and Byrne.

Attack however, we still look so so clueless. Very flat, very laboured, no ideas, no creativity, no running at speed and shifting it.

I only saw the first half and I agree, I thought our defence was fantastic.
Our half’s don’t control the middle of the field like they should, hopefully Hastings will sort that problem next season

Honestly I think it was just a good, old fashioned game of rugby pick holes if you want,it’s not really needed though is it? :D

This!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I honestly thought we were playing the ref....... them two forward passes were very debatable........ conner never threw one backwards all night....... also byrnes try was not a double movement....... we are getting better and are attacking much better on the right
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
