Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad with the Holts Injury Update.

Sean O’Loughlin

Earlier this week the Club announced that skipper Sean O’Loughlin will not require surgery on a pectoral injury he sustained in his side’s 15-14 win over Hull FC in Round 24 at the KCOM Stadium.

O’Loughlin is scheduled to return to action in 6-8 weeks and will undergo a period of rehabilitation with the Wigan Warriors medical and strength and conditioning staff.

On the injury earlier this week Head Coach Adrian Lam said, “Losing a player of Sean’s influence and ability will always be tough to take, yet the silver lining to this is that we should be welcoming him back into the fold as we look to make the play-offs at the end of the season.”

Ben Flower Joe Greenwood

The Cherry & White ranks were bolstered this week with the return of two experienced forwards in the shape of Ben Flower and Joe Greenwood to the 19-man squad. Flower has been out of action following a back injury sustained in Wigan’s 18-19 win away to Hull KR on 9th June. Greenwood last featured for the Warriors on Friday 28th June vs Salford Red Devils at the DW Stadium. Both are in contention to make the 17 to face Hull KR on Friday.

Joe Bullock

Prop-forward Joe Bullock misses out this week as he recovers from a knee injury sustained vs St Helens on Friday 12th July.

Long-Term Injury List

Tom Davies (ankle)

Dom Manfredi (knee)

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
