Just watched it again. Two questions.

Did Colin Tyrer recover?
I was going to say what happened with Hepworth but he's not worth the question.

I remember it well. What somehow seemed to make it worse was that Tyrer was the kind of player who would never do anything like that.

And worse still for me: I was a provisional licence holder and went to Wembley on my BSA 250. On my way home, the clutch was slipping so I went on the M1, got stopped, and copped a 3 month ban.

Not a great day!

I don’t think Hepworth played against Wigan again.
He did, a few years later when he played for Leeds at Headingley . Tyrer picked him out and chipped the ball to him. Tyrer and half the Wigan pack hit him with everything legal and illegal, Hepworth got everything he deserved.

I think I remember Richie Eyres with a bad one, think it was more off the ball than a tackle though.
