Holts injury update

Get the latest on the Wigan Warriors squad with the Holts Auto Injury Update.

Liam Marshall

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Adrian Lam casted doubts over the availability of winger Liam Marshall ahead of Friday’s game.

“Liam Marshall has some doubts. He’s come off the training field with a hamstring issue so it’s maybe French coming into that wing position or Hankinson. We need to make a decision.”

Jarrod Sammut & Jake Shorrocks

Halfback Jarrod Sammut is unavailable for selection again this week following an ankle injury picked up in training last week. Fellow halfback Jake Shorrocks also misses out with a hamstring injury.

Sean O’Loughlin & Ben Flower

Wigan captain Sean O’Loughlin and prop-forward Ben Flower remain sidelined but are expected to be in contention for the visit of Castelford Tigers on Friday 13th September at the DW Stadium.

O’Loughlin back in training last week.

Joe Bullock

Forward Joe Bullock also misses out as he recovers from a knee injury sustained vs St Helens in July.

Long-term Injuries

Dom Manfredi (knee) and Tom Davies (ankle) remain the only long-term injuries for the Warriors.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I’ll be happy if Lockers is lifting the trophy at OT.
