Wane previously revealed how he’d left home at 15-years-old out of fear, after his dad discovered he had called in a bomb scare at school.

He then moved in with girlfriend Michelle, who is now his wife and mother two his two daughters.

I think the author, Jack Conlon, needs to get his facts right!

Shaun’s girlfriend, who is now his wife is called Lorraine!

If I was Lorraine, I’d be asking Waney “who the bloody hell is Michelle?” 😂😂
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Great interview and my respect for Waney has increased because of this. Top bloke and totally honest.
The only downside for me was his horrific account of the abuse he (and his brother) suffered at the hands of his sadistic bully of a father. These days he - the father - would be prosecuted by the NSPCC and end up in jail.
Waney said "he was bigger than me". Well let me tell you now, your 100x bigger than your Dad could ever be.
