And people wanted to replace faz with greenwood 😉
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Not me, I wanted Greenwood to replace Isa.

Our forwards never made good metres under Waney as we tried to hit the ground and get a quick play the ball. We are now moving the ball wider from the ruck and therefore the props are doing less work. Take note of how many times Smithies takes the ball up. The reason is probably that Lam doesn’t think our middles are up to it!

Neither do I.
No disrespect to the kids, but you can’t expect miracles from them.
Flower, when not injured looks a shadow of what he was. And Clubb, well enough said.

Looking at those numbers i think most would accept that Walmsley and Thompson are better / more effective than our starting props, also given the respective styles of play.

what i would say is damning though is the yardage made from bang average players in the rest of the Saints pack. The 2nd row is not as good as ours player for player.LMS is massively over rated and Amor, well they were looking to get rid earlier this year, and they all made more than our pack.

hopefully we can put it down to a bad day at the office, as we have seen that at the business end of the season we can turn it on and play, and the forwards can dominate.
