I think players will go not the big earners though it wil be be fringe players as cost cutting the squad so I can't see any new forwards /centre or half comming in

I agree. Isa is a valuable member of the squad and I expect not a high earner.

Isa is the kind of player that every team needs. He can cover forwards and backs and has the kind of engine that makes up for him being a bit lightweight. I imagine that he would be one of the first on the squad list. If players are being moved on I imagine that it will be a winger or two and a couple of the panic buys who have never found a role, like Sammut, or those who have not made it yet. I am still a bit flummoxed by some of our contract extensions and I hope that this does not mean that we get rid of some of the young lads coming through before they get a chance.

So you would be happy to keep Isa at the expense of releasing some young forwards? Isa is past his sell by date and should be moved on. He’s not big enough for a forward or fast enough for a back regardless of what engine he has.

Wigan are looking at extending Isa's deal as long as he wants to stay. As you say - Cheap as chips

Leeds are also looking at the Smithies scenario and seeing if we can manage to play Lockers/Isa and Farrell and keep Smithies "happy" being benched behind that quality back row. Considering he is a Yorkshire lad, Leeds have the money waiting for IL should he be open to offers. £100k will probably see him move

Still...... everyone is a fan of Isa.........................................
I'm a better fan than you

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

Callum Field is being released ☹️

Smithies won’t be going anywhere 😊

He is not as cheap as chips, Smithies and Partington are.
