2020 fixtures

Post by josie andrews »

Release date is Tuesday November 5th.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Less than a month after the GF as usual. I always think they do well to get them out by then.

Unless there are some last minute changes 😉

Getting the fixtures out so soon after the conclusion of the previous season is one of the few things that they do well. Toronto away in June will do nicely. Before school holidays so prices won't be as high and should be decent weather over there and not -642 degrees like it will be in Feb. Assuming they'll be playing their first block of away games at various grounds over here like they did last season? Are they doing blocks of 4 again?

The only thing that worries me about the Toronto away game is the availability of tickets . Most of us who want to travel over will want to book flights well in advance to get the best prices. I hope Toronto will provide enough of an allocation to cover everyone and well in advance . Don't want to buy flights and not get a ticket. I think the capacity of the stadium over there us slightly under 10K.

Well exactly. I take the fixture list with a pinch of salt these days.

That's not true really.
The fixtures are set up to about the end of July including all the Thursday night games. Bilko put a good explanation on his site a while ago.
So it's about two months out of an eight month season.

I hardly doubt we are going fill any away fan allocation greater than 100 if that.
