Gemma Walsh signs for Saints

Bit of a surprise but some indication that all was not right behind the scenes with the ladies team this year.

May be related to losing Amanda Wilkinson as coach halfway though last season which I thought was a bit strange.

Cryptic clues in Gemmas response as to how the womens team is viewed.

I heard AW was pushed more than left the squad!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage.

It is odd to say the least while I haven’t been to any games I do keep an eye on results and it was clear something wasn’t right, maybe the project ran before it could walk?
