Hardaker's never a natural centre, he's been a weak link for England at International level, when he's been switched there.
Made his name as a FB, and that's what he is best at.

Forgive my potential ignorance but is there anyway 'the switcheroo' that Waney used to do with Tomkins and Escare would work with Hardaker and French?
