SOL has been one of our greatest players.
Sure injuries have taken their toll, but he remains inspirational both on and off the field.
There is no doubt that the Warriors play better when he's there with them.

I profoundly hope that when he hangs up his boots it's his own decision, not because of some external event or injury.

Setback for Wigan Warriors captain Sean O'Loughlin

Sean O'Loughlin has suffered a setback in his recovery from an eye injury suffered in the win against Toronto.

Initially the skipper was expected to miss between two and four weeks.

But he has been ordered to have complete rest for another fortnight before even considering a return.

Lam explained: "The latest update on Lockers is he can't start training for two weeks and then from that point on he'll need to build up his fitness.

“ So it could be four weeks from now before he's playing, we'll have to see

With the nature of the eye injury, there's been bleeding and so he has to have complete rest. He can't even hop on a bike because he can't get his heart rate up, and it's such a delicate areas you can't mess around with it.

"But Morgan Smithies did a very good job in that position last week and it's a credit to him and our coaches."

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I really hope the club are thorough and honest with this injury and no one lets lockers come back before this is 100% healed
