Head Coach Adrian Lam names 21-man Warriors squad to face Hull FC this Sunday in the Betfred Super League
Two changes as Manfredi and Powell replace Bourouh and O’Loughlin
Wigan Warriors vs Hull FC, Sunday 23rd Feb, DW Stadium, K.O. 3pm
Wigan Warriors Head Coach Adrian Lam has named a 21-man squad to face Hull FC this Sunday at the DW Stadium in Round 4 of the Betfred Super League.
The Cherry & Whites will take on Lee Radford’s side for the first time in 2020, with both Club’s tied at the top of the table with four points each alongside Saints, Huddersfield and Castleford.
Last time the Black and Whites visited the DW a historic first was made, seeing the first ever Golden Point victory in Super League. Unfortunately it was the visiting side that went home with the two points early in the 2019 season.
Squad news
Earlier this week Adrian Lam provided an update on skipper Sean O’Loughlin, who sustained an eye injury last week in the closing stages of the victory over Toronto Wolfpack.
“There was a fair bit of bleeding behind the eye and that can be a dangerous one.
“He’s starting to get some vision back in it now. He could be out for one-to-four weeks really. Just wait and see with that one really.”
After not featuring since April 2019 when he suffered a knee injury away to Castleford Tigers, Dom Manfredi is named in the 21-man squad. He did feature in the Reserves victory last weekend over Hull KR at Robin Park Arena.
Oliver Gildart remains unavailable as he continues his recovery from a dislocated shoulder picked up on international duty for Great Britain last Autumn.

21-man squad vs Hull FC
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: 21-man squad vs Hull FC
Looks like the team will be very similar to last week. Surprised to see that Greenwood is still in the 21 given everyone's comments about his form and would like to have seen that Jack Wells was closer to a start. The reserves are playing on Sunday too so we may not get any clues about those that are in the 21 who are not really expected to play. Looking forward to a match which should be a good test but which looks more winnable than it did a week ago

Indeed. He certainly did nothing to advance his claims in his last outing, far from it.southportcdm wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2020 2:59 pm Looks like the team will be very similar to last week. Surprised to see that Greenwood is still in the 21 given everyone's comments about his form
