The next in line for the gallows now Lockers career draws to a close?
No, just saying he is not the big superstar that he is suddenly being made into
Show me one post that calls him a superstar,he is though reliable for the most part and allows other players to get on with their jobs,he isn’t the best hooker in the world but much like ringo and the Beatles it’s better when he plays

Love the analogy 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

But Ringo wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles!

But The Beatles worked with Ringo due to their music being nice and simple, Would The Beatles have worked with far more intense drummers like Filthy Phil or Moon the loon, Would they have worked with more technically advanced drummers like Peart, Rich & Krupa, I think not, Yet you could throw greater hookers into Wigan and they would thrive, Imagine Jake Friend for 2 or 3 seasons, The trouble with mediocrity is people soon get used to it and think it's the norm, Hence certain players at Wigan getting bigged up by fans because they try their hardest

AndyNick wrote: Tue Mar 03, 2020 7:37 am Lets face it, We could win 86-2, Sam Powell could score 4 tries, create 3 more and break Smithies Tackle record. There would be a thread on here about how he is a liability for giving away the penalty that led to the 2 points conceded!!!
Why would the opposition have so much ball possession in order for Powell to make 70 tackles with a score line like that? That’s what I’d be asking
Probably because Powell knocked on!!

Neither was Lockers in your witterings!
I'd certainly prefer him in the team than out.

🤣
I wonder if Ringo's lad would have been a better drummer if Ringo had taught him rather than Moony?

I would rather have him coming off the bench replacing a better hooker

Better to start a tackling hooker and bring an impact hooker off bench meds...... tommy is perfect ( bench)and keep smith at 7
