Warriors World to temporarily close

Post by josie andrews »

The Club’s town centre retail store, Warriors World, is the latest facility to temporarily close its doors as a precaution against the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Grand Arcade store will now remain closed until further notice in order to safeguard both staff and customers, minimising risk in light of the nationwide need to reduce social interaction.

Supporters will still be able to place retail orders online, taking advantage of the ongoing Winter Range sale and free UK postage offer*, but are advised that the online sales portal may be out of action for a period of time on Monday and possibly Tuesday as essential maintenance in light of the Warriors World closure takes place.

With couriers across the country also proving to be exceptionally busy due to the high volume of high priority transactions currently taking place online, we also ask supporters to be patient in waiting for online orders to arrive, as there is a likelihood that they could take longer to deliver than normal.

Wigan Warriors thanks all of its supporters for their patience during this unprecedented period of uncertainty and change and urges everyone to follow Government advice on social distancing to help defeat this shared challenge together.

*Orders over £20 qualify for free UK postage during March.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
