Have we got to the bottom of what’s happened with his contract out there?

First reports were he was looking elsewhere for more money.

Then it was Canberra couldn’t afford the 3rd year of his deal.

Now they apparently offered a deal to make him their highest paid player.

Looks like he had better offers but none could match seeing his daughter.
He will be on good money no doubt but surely this last few months has shown us money is not everything.
