As for the idea that we are too reliant on individual play to get us home in matches, well, I have said this for a while both here and at t'other place, and the fact that so many other posters make exactly the same point reassures me that I do have some idea what I'm talking about! :lol: In other words, we have a consensus on that.

But we don't build pressure or strangle teams out of games. Despite having an excellent young kicker who could surely get us plenty of repeat sets. But that doesn't happen often enough. Why not? Well, again, I think we have a reasonable consensus there; it is the double whammy of a lack of forward grunt not getting us to the red zone, and, when we do get there, chaotic set-up and last-tackle options.

i agree moto...... when at games have you ever noticed how many key position players are stood in the wrong positions? Tommy is always too shallow at first receiver on last plays imo
