Five changes feature Brad Singleton’s first inclusion.

Adrian Lam has named the 21-man Wigan Warriors squad to face Warrington Wolves this Friday in Round 15 of the Betfred Super League (K.O. 7:45pm).

The Cherry and Whites will look to bounce back from last weekend’s cup defeat when they take on Steve Price’s men at Emerald Headingley Stadium.

The Warriors Head Coach has made five changes from the side that faced Leeds Rhinos.

Recent signing Brad Singleton features for the first time since his arrival in September and could make his debut on Friday night.

Second-row Morgan Smithies returns for selection after serving his sixth and final match ban received for two separate incidents during Wigan’s win over Castleford in Round 10.

Following the news that two Wigan players had tested positive for Corona Virus (learn more HERE), a third unnamed played has also been ruled out following the results of a positive test.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday morning, Lam confirmed the result saying: “This third positive test was not a part of the team last weekend and has been isolating away from the squad.”

All three are isolating and have no contact with the rest of the Wigan Warriors squad.

Injury List

Youngster Ethan Havard misses out with an ankle injury picked up against Leeds Rhinos last weekend.

Experienced prop-forwards George Burgess and Tony Clubb miss out as they recover from their respective hip and neck issues.

Following his suspected injury against St Helens last week, back-rower Jack Wells is expected to be unavailable for up to three months with a MCL tear and knee dislocation.

Winger Liam Marshall continues his long-term recovery from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament knee injury sustained during the Round 10 tie with Castleford.

very unbalanced squad without doubt lacking real grunt up front to take on the Warrington pack but heres hoping!!!!

Flower and Clark seems a bit of a strange absence could it be Covid related plus young Kilner. I am baffled each week when i see other squads with minimal changes and yet ours is a merry go round.

Conditioning issues???? We cant always put it down to age as the Saints pack is much older overall than ours but rarely changes

You'd think if the call was for more grunt up front, Flower and Clark would be in, and to a lesser extent Kilner, who is a big lad. So whether that's Covid related, who knows? But with no Burgess or Gildart either...

Patently, we'll put a side out but I'm not sure I could construct a proper one from those players available.

I'm generally curious why Hankinson keeps popping up he will not improve or reduce our performance.
