Excellent idea this, before I read in-depth I'm already taken back by the mass numbers at games! If only we attract such numbers to the DW week in week out

The rugby games usually regularly got more spectators than association football. I usually tweet about that fact too.
Wigan v Warrington got 12,000 one weekend whilst Glasgow Rangers v Blackburn Rovers (at the time FA Cup winners) only got 6,000
