Is this Wigan we are seeing?

Early doors yes. But..

Fast play the balls
Dummy runners
Forwards hitting ball at pace
Support runners

It’s great to see! Where has this style of play been?

Brilliant game. Just one thing that is missing offloads.

Think that goes down to style of play and tactics. It’s hard to focus on offloads if you’re hitting the line at speed, trying to make meters and win the floor to get a quick POTB.

The conditions were certainly much better than when we played Leeds and the all round team performance was outstanding - well played Wigan!

A great performance. Who was impersonating Bibby? That step that led to a try was great.

As to French, well what can you say other then electrifying. Reminded me of Jason Robinson.

Great game and we did it without an amazing performance from Farrell or our wingers / centres.

I think Hastings, French, Bullock, Singleton and Powell were our best 5. Everyone else just solid and played their part.

The difference in the team was we had PROPS more experienced than the young lads that we have been playing .

That could be down to it but it looked like the style of play had changed a little.

Powell was stepping out of hooker more and asking questions of the markers and A defender.

We had dummy runners at the POTB to prevent people running into A defender

I noticed Hastings having forwards run off him which we don’t see often

We had players looking for tip ons which holds defences back and stops them committing.

It was honestly one of the best games I’ve seen us play under Lam.
