That's dreadful beyond belief!
It's amateurish and totally devalues the Wigan Rugby League brand.
I thought the club had a supporter a focus group, can't believe that they didn't dismiss it.

They tried this in 1998 and i remember it being absolutely shot down - reverting back to the proper crest the following season

why mess with something that no fan has ever asked for?!!?

controversial kits are one thing but to mess with the logo is a ridiculous idea as has been proven in the past

The club crest is part of our heritage and I for one won't be buying anything with the new crest on.why can't the club consult the fans on something that belongs to us all

I really like the old crest, it's classy. Any explanation as to why it's being changed and why a viking? At least they kept the 'Ancient and Loyal', I'd seen rumours that it was to be dropped.
