I've posted this before. Hastings mother said a month ago on facebook he was going nowhere as he's loving it at Wigan and Batty coming home is a big one for him.
Believe what you like but she's posted that a few times and I"m inclined to see the positive in her comments.

Me too, I’ve seen her comments & Jacko has also said he’s happy here 😊
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,

Fantastic news! With the return of Batty, arrival of Field and hopefully the retention of Hastings too......life shouldn't be too shabby down at the DW next season (when allowed in) :D

I wouldn’t be so confident that he will sign. There has been a WhatsApp conversation with Phil Clarke leaked we’re he’s saying that Hastings has asked for more money and been told no.

I hope he does stay and either this conversation is someone’s sad attempt of being a troll or it’s just initial talks. I am lead to believe it however as it does mention that he still has an attitude problem.
