Cancel Burgess G contract and we probably could keep him. Rather keep Hastings than sign Field.

Try and keep Hastings and sign Field.
As we've seen from Bevan there's nothing like electrifying pace and Field has it.
Field can play fb or wing. Burgess is leaving so maybe we'll have Marshall and Field as our wingers with Bevan at fb. That would be the fastest back three in SL by a very long way.
Right now we don't know who's retiring. I'd suspect Lockers and maybe Leuluai too.
There's one thing for sure there nothing like pace in scoring tries to bring the house down.

That is such good news. I honestly feel that he ought to stay in SL. His fast feet and ability to play in broken field makes him the perfect SL back. We have such an exciting side for next year. Bravo IL!

Seriously you can't beat pace, especially in this new game, and we'll have that in spades next season. Blistering speed like French and Field can't be coached so other teams will be looking on nervously. Just need to keep scrums out and hope the weather is kind, giving top of the field conditions.
