New captain for 2021 ?

I think it's pretty much nailed on that Bateman is captain.

My pick would be Farrell, leads by example, one man club, wants to play for Wigan.

I have no issues with bateman but he is back with us by circumstance and has said he puts money first and before hes even played we have articles about him going back raiders at some point.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,

Powell is another, in my opinion the person who is captain should have one priority playing for Wigan, that allows them to concentrate 100% on the team and not be effected by chasing the next big dream/paycheck.

Im really looking forward to having bateman back in the team but i personally want a captain you can build the team around.

Bateman, Farrell, Hastings, Hardacker and French, in the leadership group.
