Regardless of my 17, we have options to have a first choice pack and Field/Leuluai/Smith isn't a bad combination in the halves.

With the exception of Zak at 1 (who I think is very reliable), wingers and centres speak for themselves. Isa for me, is now nailed on as a 2nd row going forwards. All hands to the pump though in this situation.

Smith will be in the halves for his kicking i think...... ide still go bateman centre unless zak does( which doesnt sound likely)....... not keen on willie in the centres personally......the pack looks really good tbh

All hands to the pump in this situation should be Hankinson in one of the centre positions, he was head and shoulders above the young kids last time out v stains, could be a mistake allowing him on loan, time will tell I suppose

I would presume that both Hankinson and the club felt it was in both parties best interest's that he went on loan.

For my money, I almost think (rightly or wrongly) Hankinson has had his chance. The advantage the 'young kids' have is exactly that......youth. I know Hankinson hasn't played enough times consistently to pass judgement, but that might speak volumes in itself.

Yes he would certainly start tonight, he will never leapfrog Zak, Gilly or Bibby and imagine Hankinson wants to play week in week out at 27/28 ish.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Although not our best that starting squad is nothing to sneeze at, our bench is the weak spot for me.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

All four subs performed well for us last season.
