Raffle: Batty’s boots in aid of Mose

New chance to become the proud owner of John Bateman’s pink boots

All proceeds of the raffle go to the Mose Masoe Foundation

Replacement fundraiser after original auction let-down

If you thought you’d missed out on your chance to land John Bateman’s match-worn pink boots in aid of the Mose Masoe Foundation, think again!

A new chance to become the proud owner of these much talked-about keepsakes is now being offered after the disappointment of the original auction winner rescinding their bid after the bidding closed, as well as all of the other leading bidders declining the chance to honour their highest bid as a back up.

Instead of accepting a considerably lower price by continually working further and further down the list of bidders, the decision has been taken to once again turn to leading online raffle providers Raffall, who have just helped Brad Singleton to raise £1,868 in aid of the MND Association.

With tickets for this ten-day raffle also priced at £2, we hope that the price makes entry accessible to all Rugby League fans to contribute as much or as little as they wish for this very worthy cause, with the Mose Masoe Foundation set up to support the Hull KR player and his family after the serious spinal injury he sustained last year, as well as being in place to support other Rugby League players through difficult times.

The prize on offer is a pair of size 9.5 bright pink Puma boots, as sported by Bateman in our victory over Wakefield Trinity on 1st April, televised live on Sky Sports with the footwear being showcased during Batty’s post-match interview with Jenna Brooks.

The initial auction should have raised £2,550 for the charitable foundation had all gone to plan… can you rally round to help us match – or beat – that total via the proceeds of the raffle?

You can buy your tickets here from this link, with no limit to how many you can buy. The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday 10th May at 3pm, with the winner confirmed soon after the raffle closes.

Good luck – and a big thank you in advance – to all who enter this exciting raffle!

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
